A service time opportunity……..
On Wednesday, June 30, 5-7:30pm, there is a reception being given to thank certain FOS donors from the Great Lakes Council.
Location is my place of business, ArvinMeritor, 2135 W, Maple Rd., Troy (between Collidge and Crooks)
Arrive at 5pm and enter thru the south employees entrance. that entrance is at the back of the building, it is NOT the main entrance on Maple Rd.
What I need is 6-8 scouts, in full class “A” uniform.
2 scouts will help man the check-in table, the balance will mingle with the guests and talk with them about Scouting.
All will be involved with the opening flag ceremony which is merely to walk the flags in, post the colors, recite pledge and scout oath and law.
if you can get yourself there, I will make sure you get a ride home.
you can email me, or sign up this Monday at the picnic.
Note: there will be alcohol severed to the adults only. so if there is an issue with this, please do not sign up

Per Mr. J,
For those going to summer camp…….
you have an opportunity, if you wish to participate, in designing the t-shirt design
color of the shirt is fixed — it is grey this year.
attached are some EXAMPLES…. they are examples only for your thinking process…..
the task — design what the shirt should look like.
the design is place on the top left portion of the shirt only (no back designs)
rules:
– must have troop number on it
– must have bsa fleur-des-lies on it
– must be square, oval, rectangle or triangle
– must be clip art ready – no manual sketches
– must be micro-soft compatible (we got to be able to read/open it with some MS product)
All entries must be in my hands by this Monday.

Here are some details about the upcoming Potluck and Court of Honor:
Who: Scouts and their family *entire family is invited*
When: June 14th, 6pm – ? *Dinner Starts at 6:30*
Where: Jaycee Park – On Long Lake (18 mile), between Rochester and John R. Will be held in the far back pavilion, look for the Red, White, and Blue.
RSVP by June 10th with number attending: 
Notes: Troop 1705 will provide hot dogs & fixins’, paper products, and bug juice.

1) SUMMER CAMP
attached is the known attendance for summer camp. scout and adult. (2 sheets in the one file)
a line thru the scout’s name means he has already told us he is not attending.
I hope the issue is that most are waiting to the last minute to sign up (why I don’t know, but I hope that is the reason)
as I announced at last night’s meeting and I am SURE your scout has given you the word…. if anyone has any issue with the dollars, contact me ASAP and we can work something out.
every scout should attend camp. if money is the issue, we can be flexible but we need to know now so as not to incur the penalty.
money due for camp due next Monday.

2) Rendez-vous
SIGNUP FOR BEST PRICE is due next monday as well. please consider this event. in additiona to being our regular monthly outing in September, it is the 100year celebration of Boy Souting in America..
but to get the best price, you must commit now.
3) PICNIC
coming up June 14 … flier coming out soon. location = Jaycee park, on long lake, between john-r and Rochester. eat at 6pm… troop COH followed by 2 Eagle Scout’s COH… bring a side dish.
